Graduate shows offer students the precious chance to present their work to an audience of potential employers and collaborators. With the pandemic removing any chance of a physical show, this opportunity was under threat.
For the LSAD Graphic Design class of 2021, a digital show was created which aimed to provoke a reaction. The identity featured a disruptive custom typeface, vibrant colour palette and booming techno soundtrack, ensuring the show had an immediate, attention-grabbing presence online. Students contributed in creating a series of idents which introduced the logo in unexpected forms, allowing the identity to feel fresh on each viewing.
Posting content on a daily basis, the show was promoted across social media channels, as well as a custom built website which acted as a space to hold talks with industry leaders as well as showcase students work.
